In my view there are only a few main conditions to make Earth Trusteeship a success. (Michiel C J Damen)

1. Inspiration for change based on the awareness by a large enough group of people that there is a problem at all with our Mother Earth, the climate, soil conditions, social justice, land ownership,  etc.

2. A ‘circular economy’ based on cooperation, in which in particular also the consumer is taken seriously in its efforts to buy ecologically and economically (socially) healthy products for a fair price based on true cost accounting.

3. Political will to change our laws from the old fashioned neo-liberal selfish ideas and economic corruption towards an open democratic society, in which each vote counts in an equal way.

4. Large scale landscape restoration. Examples are Commonland and the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration

The above mentioned three conditions should be supported by a

5. Sustainable & ethical financial banking system in which common ownership (thrusteeship) of all stakeholders is made possible of, for instance, agricultural land, water resources and other means of production.
